S.W.O.R.D

This app collects nothing about you.

No account. No analytics. No advertising. Nothing leaves your phone.

What we don’t gather

S.W.O.R.D has no sign-in, no profile, and no server. The app does not collect, store, or transmit personal information of any kind. Specifically, it never gathers:

  • Your name, email address, or contact details
  • Location data
  • Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
  • Advertising identifiers
  • Your contacts, photos, calendar, or files

The choices you make in a session — how you’re feeling, what you need — stay on your device and are not recorded anywhere.

How audio works

Every sound you hear is generated on your phone as it plays. Tones, nature ambience, and spoken scripture are produced locally using your device’s built-in speech synthesis. No audio is uploaded, streamed from us, or analyzed.

The app is designed to play alongside other audio, so anything you start in another app continues underneath a session. We have no visibility into what that is.

Bluetooth

The app asks for Bluetooth permission for one purpose: to connect to a S.W.O.R.D speaker device and control its light and sound layers. That connection carries only playback commands and the session name shown on the device’s display.

No data is read from your phone, and nothing is sent anywhere. If you never use a S.W.O.R.D device, you can decline the permission and the app works normally.

Scripture

All passages are drawn from the King James Version, which is in the public domain. No text is fetched from an outside source while you use the app.

During beta testing

While S.W.O.R.D is distributed through Apple’s TestFlight, Apple collects crash reports and basic usage information from testers under its own policies. We receive crash logs so we can fix problems, along with any feedback a tester chooses to send us. This is Apple’s collection, not ours, and it ends when the app leaves TestFlight.

Children

S.W.O.R.D is built for a general audience and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.

If this changes

Should a future version of the app ever collect anything, this page will say so plainly before that version ships, and the date below will change.
